A Woman Appointed as the Head (over a man) PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 20 May 2010 18:03

Question:  I am a worker in a pharmacy and the owner of the pharmacy has appointed a woman as our head. So what do you advise me?

Answer: We advise you not to remain in in this pharmacy, take heed and look for another job. And (take this as) glad tidings of goodness (for you) because Allah says, "Whosoever fears Allah, He will make a way out for
him. And He will provide sustenance for him from where he knows not.  And whoever depends upon Allah then He is sufficient for him." (Surah Talaaq:2-3)  And if it is possible for you to advise the owner of the pharmacy such  that he appoints a male head, then do so due to the statement of the  Prophet (Sal Allahu alaiyhi wa sallam), "The religion is sincere advise." And may Allah grant all of us success.
